Everyday Fall Cleanse: Tip #1

🍂It's time for Tip #1🍂

You and I have been given a free-will and a multitude of choices in life about, what to eat, who to love, how we vote and what we say, and how we say it. You bet each choice carries certain consequences - good and bad. An adult makes about 35,000 remotely conscious decisions each day, and in contrast a child makes about 3,000. This number may sound absurd, but in fact, we make 226.7decisions each day on just food alone according to researchers at Cornell University. This ability to choose is an incredible and exciting power that we have each been given with by the very intelligent design of being human. As your level of responsibility increases, so does the basket of choices you are faced with.


In my last post, I mentioned the 3S Check! ✅Stability, ✅Stress and ✅Sleep

Now, I know my fellow yoga nerdanators are probably itching in their seat to point out, how these things are interconnected. Kuddos! You get a star! You are absolutely right. They are interconnected, but isn’t everything? In a world where each one of us makes each of these 35,000 choices a day, I’ve found it for myself and for my clients to start with simple things so we can truly begin to appreciate the mesmerizing intelligence of our body, mind and heart, and participate in the process from a place of stability.

The 1st S....STABILITY!

Listen, the thing about stability is that, it’s personal. Ayurveda recommends, the R word, my Whimsical Vatas, be forewarned, it’s coming….Routine!

Yeah, for some individuals the sound of a Routine gives causes more anxiety than if they were to actually just do it. There are others who over are over committed to their “daily routine” and missing the entire point of having one. There are also reality of being a mom, a busy working day schedule, not having the nurturing structures in our society for moms to actually do the “daily routine”.

I would like to say this again, stability is about you. Stability is any action or inaction that connects you to your core, a place you can move from, the space you can move into and a place that is your alone. It’s a quality that you sew your dream into actions from, a quality that allow you to feel like, “fuck yeah!”


TIPS TO TRY :

🍁pranayama practice

🍁a brisk walk

🍁planning the night before for your day

🍁10-20min of device free, book free, people free time to yourself

🍁work out

🍁sun salutations

🍁gardening

🍁write

🍁play with your child

HEART NOTE :

The greatest gift I witness within clients is the immense joy they experience as their core begins to unfold perfectly, like a missing piece to a puzzle this world had been waiting for. The gift of stability is this, the choice to cultivate clear capacity to live from within.
